Celebrations of First Holy Communion
Families celebrate First Holy Communion together at one of the four Eucharistic
weekends during the year. They can choose the Mass they would like to attend.
No more than ten families at a mass. The families hang banners in the Church
during the Eucharistic weekend. The group of families presents the gifts.
They receive First communion from the priest with their parents before the
rest of the assembly. Finally, the priest presents the Holy Communion certificate
to the communicant to recognize the new fully participating members.
