First Holy Communion

Preparation for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion occurs twice a year for children of all active registered members of the parish. The process for preparation is family based. This includes a parent & child workshop and a child's retreat and rehearsal. In order for a child to begin the preparation process, he or she must:

• be baptized Catholic;
• have completed one year of religious formation, either in a Catholic school, Parish religious education program, or a Catholic home-schooling program;
• be currently enrolled in a formation program;
• be in the second grade or above and at least 7 years of age.
• have celebrated the Sacrament of First Reconciliation
