This page is intended to give RE Catechists, Co-Catechists and Assistants a place to get current information about the current program(schedules) as well as resources that can be used in preparing for classes. The Diocese of Fort Worth has had in place for a while a comprehensive program to keep children safe within our programs. A primary element of this commitment to providing a safe environment is a training program for diocesan staff and volunteers. Within the St. Andrew Religious Education program ALL staff and volunteers must satisfactorily complete and, over time, maintain a certification of having received this training. If you have never had this training within the diocese you must take the initial workshop. Once certified you must take a retraining workshop every 3 years to maintain that certification. There also is a Teen Workshop for teens who work in the program. Below is a partial list of worshops scheduled at St. Andrew Catholic Church . Middle School & High School Catechist & Assistant Workshop and Meeting Sunday August 7, Noon-4:30PM (Lunch provided) in the Parish Hall	Catechist Meeting - (all catechists, co-catechists and assistants) Wednesday, October 12th beginning at 6:30 PM in the Parish Hall
Spritual Retreat (all catechists, co-catechists, assistants) - Saturday, August 13, 9:00AM-2:30 PM in the Parish Hall (Lunch provided)	Parish Advent Retreat - Friday, December 2nd 7:00 PM Church, reception to follow in the Parish Hall
